SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it is actually alarmed regarding the high amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] SRD is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office focused on service the area every day.
