Who Qualifies For The Bursary Or Student Loan From NSFAS?
The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has formally opened the 2025 application system.
Applications are now open and will shut on 15 December 2024.
*** Who qualifies for NSFAS funding
To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the subsequent criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a house having a combined gross domestic income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic revenue does not exceed R600 000 per annum.
• SASSA recipients instantly qualify for funding and need not post any evidence of income.
*** Loan Scheme for the Missing Middle
The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open to all South African citizens and permanent inhabitants from homes with combined R350 000 and R600 000 per annum.
Applicants are reminded to supply the proper Identity Document numbers, names, and surname, as reflected of their South African ID.
NSFAS only funds people who are learning or intend to research more info in a general public university or TVET college in South Africa.
All students who wish to 2025 nsfas application study in any of the public universities and TVET colleges should apply timeously and not to wait until nsfas 2025 the last day.
Learners do not have to wait for matric results to apply for NSFAS. They should apply now and avoid delays in the processing of their application.
